My University's Life

I graduated from a university in Xiamen China. Xiamen is a one of most of beautiful cities in China with a very famous island. The island's name is Gulanyu.  My school is located on the island. As an academy of fine arts student, I was so content in there for 4 years. When I think of my university life, it always cheers me up.

Gulanyu is a  tourist attraction and every day it receive a lot of tourists. But my school was at the back of the island with some beaches, so we can enjoyed the fine view and the peaces at the same time. We often drew at the seaside or in alleys wtih my classmates. We also loved to walk and ran about on the beach, felling the sea wind, the ocean waves, and enjoyed the sunrise and sunset. Gulanyu have a many famous buliding with different style.but righr now those buliding almost using in business. such as coffee bar, bookshop...however, it was a very magical time and an unforgottable experience in my life. Sometimes we have to face life's difficult things, but the past is not only in my mind and also fills me with power, like during my time at university life.

Hi, nice to meet you. I'm a new student. My name is Joan. I came from another LINC school and I have studied English for almost 7 months.  I have been in Toronto for 11 months with my family. I have one son. He is 4 years old and is studying in junior kindergarten. He likes to play sports such as swimming, tennis, and skating. He enjoys all of it. My husband is a software engineer. He always works on the computer and seldom does sport actively. I like sports even though I don't have much free time, so I just do the some sports with my son.
